You can follow any website, social media platform, and create custom feeds from almost any source that doesn’t have an RSS feed built in.
Getting Started with RSS.app
Signing up and setting up your account
Getting started with RSS.app is quick and easy:
Sign up: Just go to our Sign Up page and fill out the registration form.
Quick login: You can also sign in using Google or X (formerly Twitter).
Once signed in, you're all set to create and manage your feeds.
Creating Your First RSS Feed
Creating a feed is a simple process:
1. From your dashboard, click Create New Feed.
2. Paste the website URL into the provided field and click Generate.
4. Your feed is ready to go. Save to My Feeds to keep it in your account for easy access.
You can create feeds from almost any newsletter, news site (CNN, The New York Times, Google News, USA Today) or social media page (Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, X / Twitter, Bluesky, Reddit, and more). The page just has to be publicly accessible.
Need a more customized feed?
If the website requires a more sophisticated approach, you can use our RSS Builder. This feature lets you manually select specific elements (like headlines, images, or summaries) to include in your feed.
Customizing Your Feeds
RSS.app gives you full control over what you see and how your feeds behave.
You can change the feed title or description in Edit.
You can translate your feed to another language using our Translate feature.
You can remove duplicate content, whitelist/blacklist specific keywords, replace URLs in Filters.
You can limit the amount of posts in the feed, enable HTML, or remove images in Feed Output Settings.
These tools give you the flexibility to create a personalized experience, ensuring you get the exact content you want, how you want it.
Embedding Feeds on Your Website
Once your feed is ready, embedding it on your website is simple:
1. Choose your preferred widget style (News Wall, List, Carousel, Imageboard, Ticker, Magazine, Feed).
2. Customize the Widget according your website's aesthetic.
3. Click Add to Website and copy the generated JavaScript, iFrame, or Wix code.
4. Paste the code into your website's HTML where you'd like the feed to appear (Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, Weebly).
Setting Up Alerts to Slack, Discord, Telegram, or Email
RSS.app makes it easy to get notifications about new updates without needing to constantly check your feeds. You can set up alerts to receive content in your preferred format:
