Automating your Telegram channel or group is the best way to keep your community engaged without manual posting. With RSS.app, you can connect any RSS feed, from news sites to social media, and have updates delivered by our Telegram bot.
Step 0: Add your Source to RSS.app
To connect a feed to Telegram, it must first be active in your RSS.app dashboard.
Copy the URL of the website, social media page, or news site you want to follow.
Paste the URL into the RSS Generator and click Generate.
Click Save to My Feeds.
Step 1: Add the bot to the group
First, you need to invite the RSS.app bot to your destination.
Click on your channel or group name in Telegram and Add User.
Copy and paste Bot name in the search:
@news_alerts_rss_botand Add bot to Group.
Make sure you're adding our bot. You can also add the bot via this link: https://t.me/news_alerts_rss_bot.
Manage permissions

Important: Ensure the bot has permissions to Post Messages. If using a channel, you must make the bot an Administrator.
Step 2: Connect RSS.app with Telegram
Now, you need to tell RSS.app which Telegram account to send the data to.
Go to your Integrations page, click Connect Bot.

3. Confirm request access on your phone or other linked device.
Step 3: Activate Your Telegram Alert
After confirming your request, you will find the option to add a Telegram alert. Select the RSS feed that you want to use as the source for updates.
You can also navigate to Feed Overview and click on the Telegram icon on the right side:
Step 4: Select the Posting Channel
Select your Group or Channel from the dropdown list.
Click Save. Your bot is now active and will begin posting new updates automatically.

On the Alert Overview page, you have options to modify sources and apply filters to tailor the feed to your needs.
Custom Branding
Toggle which elements you’d like to appear in your posts in Settings. This allows you to control whether your feed includes the title, image, description, or other content.

Check the history to see when, how many, and which updates the bot has sent.
