Learn how to automatically send new RSS content to email

Updated this week

Automating RSS feed updates to email allows you to receive the latest content from your favorite websites directly in your inbox.

  1. Create a new feed using our RSS Generator or RSS Builder.

  2. Navigate to Feed Overview.

  3. Locate and click on the Email Digest button on the right side.

  4. In Overview, format your Email Subject and choose your preferred Schedule.

  5. Click Save.

The email digest can only be sent to the email address registered with your RSS.app account.

Settings Overview

Templates

You can choose from three different email templates for displaying RSS feed content:

  • Large Card – Displays articles in a card format with large images and descriptions.

  • List – Presents articles in a compact list format, including thumbnails and descriptions.

  • Text Only – Shows articles as plain text with no images.

Settings

You can also adjust the number of characters displayed in the article description.

Group By Source Option

This toggle enables grouping headlines by their respective feeds. It only works when multiple feeds or a feed bundle is selected as the source for the email.

History and Testing

Check the history to see when and how many updates the bot has sent. Use the Send Test button on the top right of the screen to verify the bot's integration.
