Google News is a powerful news aggregator, but it doesn't offer a native way to follow specific custom searches in your favorite apps. With RSS.app, you can turn any Google News topic, search result, or location-based news into an RSS feed.
Why turn Google News into an RSS Feed?
Media Monitoring: Track mentions of your brand or competitors.
Topic Research: Follow specific industries like "Renewable Energy" or "SaaS Trends."
Automation: Send news alerts to Slack, Discord, or Email without manual searching.
Website Content: Display a live news ticker or wall on your site.
Step 1: Copy your Google News URL
First, navigate to Google News and find the content you want to follow.
Type your topic (e.g., "Artificial Intelligence") into the search bar.
Choose a region by clicking the Settings icon.
Once the page loads, copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
Please note that RSS.app cannot generate feeds from "For You" or "Following" pages as these require a personal login. Stick to public search terms and topic pages.
Step 2: Generate the Feed with RSS.app
Go to the Google News RSS Generator.
Paste the URL you copied into the search box.
Click Generate.
Preview your feed and click Save to My Feeds.
Step 3: What to do with your feed?
Now that your Google News feed is ready, here are the most popular ways to use it:
Display it on your website – Use our RSS Widgets to embed a live news wall or ticker.
Automate notifications – Send news alerts directly to Slack, Discord, or Telegram with RSS Bots.
Create more feeds – Turn any other website URL into a feed with our RSS Generator.
