Reddit has become one of the most influential platforms for stock market sentiment — from early signals of a short squeeze to viral opinions on earnings reports. As a trader, staying on top of Reddit mentions can give you a serious edge.
With RSS.app, you can create a custom Reddit stock mention tracker that automatically follows ticker mentions, keywords, or entire subreddits — and sends alerts straight to your inbox, Discord, or Telegram.
Step 1: Choose What You Want to Track
You can track:
Mentions of specific tickers (e.g.
NVDA
,TSLA
,AAPL
)Keywords like “earnings”, “buy rating”, “short interest”
Activity in subreddits like
/r/stocks
,/r/options
,/r/investing
Step 2: Copy the Reddit Search or Subreddit URL
Examples:
Ticker search:
https://www.reddit.com/search?q=NVDA&sort=new
Subreddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/stocks/
This URL can point to a broad subreddit or a filtered search.
Step 3: Generate Your Reddit RSS Feed
1. Go to the Reddit RSS Feed Generator.
2. Paste your URL and click Generate.
3. Click Save to My Feeds to add it to your dashboard.
You’ll now see a live feed of Reddit posts that match your target.
Step 4: Add Keyword Filters
To cut through noise and focus on relevant posts, you can apply filters:
Whitelist: Only include posts that contain specific keywords.
→ Example: whitelist terms likeprice target
,earnings
, orNVDA
to see only high-signal posts.
Blacklist: Exclude posts with irrelevant or distracting keywords.
→ Example: blacklist terms likememe
,YOLO
, orjoke
to avoid low-effort content.
Step 5: Set Up Alerts
Get notified immediately when a relevant post appears.
1. Open your saved feed.
2. Click on the Slack, Discord, or Telegram icon in the right-hand menu.
3. Connect your workspace or bot.
4. Set the posting channel and customize the message format.

Now you'll get pinged every time someone posts about NVDA in /r/stocks — without checking Reddit.
