How to automatically receive AI summaries in your inbox

Learn how to create an automated executive news digest with AI and RSS

Use RSS.app's AI Brief to turn multiple news sources into a single, structured summary, delivered to you automatically each morning. This setup is ideal if you want a daily business briefing without manually reading dozens of articles.

What you’ll build

In this guide, you’ll:

  • Aggregate multiple news sources into one feed

  • Generate a single AI summary from those articles

  • Schedule it to be delivered automatically (e.g. every morning at 8:00 AM)

Step 1: Create feeds from your sources

  1. Copy the URL of a website or publication you want to track (e.g. news site, blog, or social page).

  2. Paste the URL and click Generate.

  3. Click Save To My Feeds.

Repeat this for each source you want to include.

Step 2: Combine multiple sources (optional but recommended)

If you want a single briefing from multiple publications:

  1. Go to Bundles.

  2. Click New Bundle.

  3. Add your feeds and name the Bundle.

  4. Click Create.

This creates one combined feed that AI Brief will use as input.

Step 3: Enable AI Brief

  1. Open your feed or bundle.

  2. Toggle AI Brief on.

Step 4: Configure your summary

Open the AI Brief tab and adjust the settings:

  • Personality: Select Executive
→ Produces concise, high-level summaries focused on key insights

  • Model: Select Advanced
→ Improves quality when summarizing multiple sources

AI Brief generates one combined summary of all selected articles, not individual summaries per post.

Step 5: Schedule automatic summaries

To receive a daily briefing:

  1. Go to the Schedule tab.

  2. Set frequency to Daily.

  3. Choose your preferred time and timezone (e.g. 08:00 AM in GMT+1).

When scheduling is enabled:

  • AI Brief will automatically generate summaries using the latest posts

  • The most recent items in your feed are included in each summary

Step 6: Choose how to receive your briefing

You can deliver your AI summary through:

Choose the option that fits your workflow.

How it works

  • RSS.app checks your sources for new content (typically every 15–60 minutes depending on your plan)

  • New posts are added to your feed

  • AI Brief selects recent posts and generates a summary

  • The summary is delivered at your scheduled time and forwarded to your integrations
