How to create sports RSS feeds

Updated over a month ago

Learn how to generate RSS feeds from sports websites so you can track match reports, transfer news, and league updates automatically.

You can create a sports RSS feed from almost any sports news page, team blog, or league website and use it in dashboards, widgets, or automation tools.

Step 1: Find the Sports Page You Want to Track

Open the sports website that publishes the updates you want to follow. Examples include:

  • A team’s news page

  • A league or tournament website

  • A sports media outlet

  • A sports blog or analysis site

Copy the full URL of that page from your browser.

Step 2: Paste the URL into the RSS Generator

1. Go to the RSS Feed Generator in RSS.app.

2. Paste the sports website URL and click Generate.

RSS.app will scan the page and convert the latest articles into a structured RSS feed.

Step 3: Save the Feed

Once the feed preview appears, click Save to My Feeds.

Your sports RSS feed will now appear in your RSS.app dashboard and will update automatically when new articles are published on the source website.

Step 4: Use Your Sports RSS Feed

Once your feed is saved, you can use it in several ways:

  • Embed sports updates on your website using RSS widgets

  • Send new sports headlines to Slack, Discord, Telegram, or email

  • Combine multiple sports feeds into a single aggregator

  • Use the feed in automation tools or apps that support RSS

RSS feeds make it easy to monitor sports updates without manually checking multiple websites.
