How to create RSS feeds from blogs

Learn how to generate RSS feeds from blogs so you can track, filter, and automatically distribute new posts across your website, tools, or workflows.

You can create an RSS feed from almost any blog with RSS.app, including personal blogs, company blogs, Medium publications, or Substack newsletters.

Step 1: Find the Blog You Want to Track

Open the blog that publishes the content you want to follow. This could be:

  • A personal blog

  • A company blog

  • A Medium or Substack publication

  • Any website with regularly published articles

Copy the URL of the page that lists posts. This is usually the homepage or a category page.

Step 2: Generate the Feed with RSS.app

  1. Go to the RSS Generator.

  2. Paste the URL you copied into the search box.

  3. Click Generate.

  4. Preview your feed and click Save to My Feeds.

Step 3: What to do with your feed?

Now that your blog RSS feed is ready, here are the most popular ways to use it:

  • Display it on your website – Use our RSS Widgets to embed a live news wall or ticker.
