How to Get LinkedIn Updates in Slack

Keeping up with LinkedIn updates does not have to involve manually checking company pages or newsletters every day. With RSS.app, you can automatically send new LinkedIn company posts or newsletter updates straight to your Slack workspace.

What This Does: New posts from a LinkedIn company page or company newsletter are automatically sent to a Slack channel of your choice.

This setup is commonly used to:

  • Track your own company’s LinkedIn posts

  • Monitor competitors on LinkedIn

  • Share LinkedIn updates with marketing or sales teams in Slack

Step 1: Generate a LinkedIn RSS Feed

1. Copy the URL of the LinkedIn company page, newsletter, or jobs search you want to follow.

2. Paste into LinkedIn RSS Generator.

3. Click Generate.

4. Your RSS feed should be ready within 20 seconds. Click Save to my Feeds to save it:

Use filters to customize the content that appears in your feed. You can exclude/include posts based on keywords, add custom text, replace text, etc.

Step 2: Set Up a Slack Alert

1. Click on the Slack icon in Feed Overview.

2. Log in with Slack and authorize RSS.app to post.

3. Select the Channel you want to post in by choosing it from the dropdown or finding it by channel ID.

If the channel is private, you’ll need to add our bot to it. Open Channel Details > Integrations > Add an app > Add News Alerts (our bot) to the channel.

4. Click Save.

The feed automatically checks the LinkedIn source based on your plan’s refresh rate and adds them to your feed. New posts are sent to Slack as soon as they are detected.
