Guide to Refresh Rate

Understand how Refresh Rate works

Updated this week

RSS.app offers various refresh rates depending on your plan, along with a custom refresh rate feature that allows you to control how often your RSS feed updates. Here's everything you need to know about adjusting the refresh rate to suit your needs.

Refresh Rate by Plan

The refresh rate for your RSS feed is determined by your subscription plan:

  • Basic Plan: Feeds refresh every 60 minutes.

  • Developer Plan: Feeds refresh every 15 minutes.

  • Pro Plan: Feeds refresh every 15 minutes.

These intervals refers to how often your feeds are refreshed to fetch new content. During each refresh cycle, we visit the source page, retrieve the latest available content, and add it to your feed.

For more details on upgrading your plan or exploring refresh rates, visit our Pricing Page.

Custom Refresh Rate

In addition to the standard refresh rates based on your plan, RSS.app also offers a custom refresh rate feature. This allows you to set your own refresh interval for your feed, with a minimum of 15 minutes for Developer and Pro plans, and 60 minutes for Basic plans.

1. Click on the three dots (โ‹ฎ) under Settings.

2. Click on Refresh Rate.

3. Set your desired refresh interval (note that the minimum is 15 minutes for Developer and Pro plans and 60 minutes for Basic plans).

4. Save your changes.
