How do I add the bot to my Slack channel?

How many Slack bots can I add?

The number of Alerts you can set depends on your subscription plan. You can check your current usage or view the Pricing Page for more details.


I'm getting the "You have reached your plan limit" message, but the number of alerts I have is less than my plan limit, why?

Instead of just deactivating the Alert, you need to delete it completely. To do so, go to https://rss.app/integrations and click the Trash icon next to the Alert you want to remove.


The bot is not posting new posts.

Make sure the bot has permissions to post in the channel. Check out our Troubleshooting Alerts article for more details.


I don’t see my channel when creating an alert.

Remove the bot from your channel and add it again. If the issue persists, please reach out to support for assistance.


How long does it take for the bot to send a new post?

Once a new post is added to the feed (based on your plan's Refresh Rate), the bot should send it to your channel or group within a minute, depending on Slack's API load.


How many posts are sent when Alerts are initially set up?

When Alerts are first set up, we only send the last 3 posts.


Can the bot send old posts?

The bot will send only new posts. Older posts can be sent manually in Alert Settings using the manual Send Post button.
