Learn how to solve common problems with Discord, Slack, and Telegram

Updated over a week ago

If you're experiencing issues with your bots or Alerts, follow these steps to resolve common problems.

1. I can't connect my Discord/Telegram/Slack account

If you're unable to connect your Discord, Telegram, or Slack account, it might be because it's already connected to another RSS.app account. Here's what to do:

1. Log into your old account.
2. Go to https://rss.app/integrations.

3. Click the three dots next to the relevant integration.

4. Click Disconnect.

3. Return to your current account and try reconnecting the integration again.

2. Bot isn't sending new posts

If your bot is not sending new posts, explore the following options:

1. Delete the integration and bot

  1. Go to https://rss.app/integrations and delete the integration by clicking the trash icon on the far right.

  2. Delete the RSS.app bot from your server/channel/group.

  3. Set up the integration from scratch.

2. Verify Bot Permissions

Double-check the permissions granted to your bot on the platform (Discord, Telegram, Slack). Make sure it has the necessary permissions to send messages or posts.

3. Check the Post History

Review the post history to see if the bot has already sent the content.

We do not resend posts that have already been sent. Posts are identified as unique by their link, so if a post with the same link is already sent, it won't be sent again unless you manually click Send Post.

If you're still facing problems after following these steps, contact support for further assistance.
