Looking for a way to keep your office, retail space, or event screen updated in real-time? With RSS.app, you can use RSS feeds to power digital signage displays that show live news, social updates, internal announcements, or custom content—all automatically.

Why This Use Case Is Helpful

  • Share real-time updates without manual input.

  • Keep your team or customers informed with fresh, rotating content.

  • Display curated content in lobbies, break rooms, retail stores, or conferences.

1. Choose Your Content Source

Decide what kind of content you want to display:

  • Latest news headlines

  • Company blog posts

  • Weather updates

  • Stock market or cryptocurrency tickers

  • Social media feeds (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)

2. Generate RSS Feeds with RSS.app

  1. Go to our RSS Generator.

  2. Enter the URL of your source (e.g., news website, Twitter profile, or blog).

  3. Click Generate.

  4. Click Save to My Feeds.

Repeat this step for multiple sources if needed.

3. Bundle and Filter Feeds (Optional)

  • Combine multiple feeds into a Bundle to show different content types in one display.

  • Use filters to include only the most relevant updates (e.g., specific keywords or categories).

4. Create a Digital Signage Widget

  1. Go to the Widgets tab in your RSS.app dashboard.

  2. Choose a display style that works best for screens like Ticker or Carousel.

  3. Customize layout, font size, colors, transitions, and autoplay options

5. Embed in Your Digital Signage Platform

  1. Click Add to Website and copy the IFrame or HTML embed code

  2. Paste the code into your signage software or digital signage CMS (e.g., ScreenCloud, Yodeck, Rise Vision)

  3. Adjust sizing and update frequency settings as needed

That’s it! Your screen will now display live content from your selected sources—no need to manually update slides or refresh pages.

Tip: Use auto-scroll or carousel widgets with bold headlines and large fonts for maximum visibility from a distance.
