What are RSS Widgets?

Widgets are embeddable code snippets that allow you to embed the feed on your website. Widgets can be created from any feed, bundle or collection.

We offer seven widget types:

  • News Wall

  • List

  • Carousel

  • Imageboard

  • Ticker

  • Magazine

  • Feed Widget

Each widget has unique styles and customization options, allowing you to adjust layouts, colors, fonts, and more to fit your website’s design


What embedding options are available for widgets?

We offer widget embedding options in JavaScript, iFrame (including a responsive iFrame version), and direct URL formats.


How to create Widget?

Create or open an existing feed and click on the tab.

To use a widget, select one of our widgets and click the button. Use the embed code to add it to your website. For more details, check our embedding guide.


Can I customize my widget?

You can customize your widget’s appearance and settings using options. We also offer several default styles to choose from.


How many widgets can I use?

The number of widgets you can use depends on your plan: 4, 20, or 100 widgets. You can check your current usage here or visit the pricing page to see how many widgets each plan includes.


Does the free plan have widgets?

No, widgets are a feature of our paid plans.


Does the Widget support Dark Mode?

Currently, there’s no automatic dark mode, but you can create two separate widgets (one for light mode and one for dark mode) and switch between them based on your site’s theme.


Can I track how many people view my Widget?

We offers a simple analytics tool where you can monitor views.

Can I track UTM parameters in the Widget?

Yes, Widgets support UTM tags.

Do widgets support custom CSS?

Yes, we supports custom CSS for widgets.

Can I embed widgets into streaming software or other applications?

You can use widget URL to any compatible application, browser source, or software where you'd like it to display. For example, you can use it as a browser/webpage source in streaming software like OBS or XSplit, or as a live URL feed in digital signage (kiosks or digital displays as well) or productivity apps.


Do widgets have mobile versions?

Most of our widgets come with mobile and tablet settings. You can also edit breakpoints for further mobile customization.


Do widgets load content dynamically?

No, at the moment, widgets load content on page load or refresh. We are considering adding a dynamic loading feature in the future.


Can I use widgets in my applications/websites?

You are welcome to use widgets however you like. However, please note that we do not take responsibility for the content delivered through the widgets.


Can I have one widget preset for every widget?

Yes, widget presets are saved across your account, so you can apply the same preset to multiple widgets.


Do widgets have filters or a search function?

No, widgets do not have built-in search or filter options. However, you can apply filters to the feed itself before displaying it in the widget.


Can I add widgets to email?

No, widgets are considered embedded content, and most email clients do not support loading embedded content. However, you can use a native RSS feed for emails. For example: Klaviyo RSS in Emails.


Are widgets responsive?

Yes, most of our widgets have a responsiveness option and can be embedded with responsive code to adapt to different screen sizes.


Can I edit where news posts open from the widget?

Yes, you can choose to open links in a new window, the same window, or a popup window.


Can I open news posts inside the widget?

No, it's not possible to open website post inside the widgets.


Can I share posts from the widget with someone?

Yes, you can enable the social sharing option, allowing you to quickly share posts with others in just one click.
