Learn about ⋮ (More Options) in Settings

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When you click ⋮ (More Options) in the Settings section of RSS.app, a dropdown menu appears with several feed management tools.

Clear Cache

If your feed isn’t showing the latest updates, hit Clear Cache to wipe stored data and force a refresh. This ensures you always see the newest content without waiting for the next automatic update.

Resize Images

Got oversized images slowing things down? Resize Images automatically adjusts them for better display and faster loading. This keeps your feed looking clean and optimized across all platforms and devices.

Replace Feed

The Replace Feed function allows you to swap the current feed with a new source URL while keeping all existing settings intact. Perfect for when a website changes its URL but you want to maintain your setup.

Purge Old Posts

Clicking Purge Old Posts brings up a pop-up where you can enable automatic cleanup. Once turned on, any posts that disappear from the source website will also be removed from your feed the next time it updates.

Export CSV

The Export CSV tool lets you download your feed data in a structured file format, making it easier to analyze, archive, or integrate with external applications. This is particularly useful for tracking post history, generating reports, or importing content into spreadsheet or database software.
