Mentioning roles in your Discord RSS posts is a great way to make sure the right people see important updates.

Add mentions
1. Open your Discord integration.
2. Switch to the Actions tab.
3. Click + Add Action.
4. From the dropdown, select Add Mentions.
5. Choose the role you'd like to mention from the list.
Optional: Set Conditions for Mentions
To only trigger mentions when a post contains specific keywords:
1. Toggle on the Filter by keywords option.
2. Enter the keywords that should activate the mention.
Example: You want to mention the @Jobs role only when the word “hiring” appears in a post. Enable "Filter by keywords" and add “hiring” to the keyword list. Only posts with that keyword will tag the role.
Trigger Notifications
If you want the role mention to trigger a notification in Discord, make sure Post Only URLs in Settings is turned on. Otherwise, the mention will appear inside the embed and will not send a notification.
Post Only URLs on: The mention will trigger a notification.
Post Only URLs off: The mention will not trigger a notification.
