Adding an Instagram widget to your Wordpress site allows you to showcase your Instagram feed, displaying posts and engaging your audience with dynamic content. This guide will walk you through the process of adding an Instagram widget to your Wordpress site using RSS feeds.
Generating an Instagram RSS feed
Copy the URL of any public Instagram profile.
Paste the URL into our Instagram RSS Generator.
Click Generate.
Your RSS feed should be ready within 20 seconds. Click Save to my Feeds to save it.
Please note that RSS feeds can only be created from public Instagram profiles that don't require a login to view.
Set Up an Instagram Widget
1. Click on the Widgets tab.
2. Select the widget type you would like to embed (News Wall, List, Carousel, Imageboard, Ticker, Magazine, or Feed).
3. Click Customize to change the widget style.
4. Click Add to Website and copy either the Javascript or IFrame code snippet.
Embed the Code into Wordpress
1. Navigate to Appearance > Customize in the left-side menu.
2. Select Widgets and choose where you'd like your widget to appear.
3. Click the + button.
3. Scroll the pop-up menu until you see Custom HTML under Widgets.
4. Paste the RSS.app code in.
Don't forget to save your changes!
