Keep your website fresh and engaging by automatically displaying the latest news headlines using RSS feeds.

Why This Use Case Is Helpful

Displaying current headlines on your site helps:

  • Keep visitors informed with real-time updates

  • Increase page engagement and time on site

  • Add credibility to niche sites with relevant, curated content

1. Find a News Source

Choose a news site you'd like to display content from (e.g. CNN, BBC, TechCrunch). If the site already offers RSS feeds, copy the feed URL. If not, move on to the next step.

2. Generate a Feed with RSS.app

  1. Go to our RSS Generator.

  2. Paste the URL of the news page (homepage or category page).

  3. Click Generate and wait up to 20 seconds for the feed to appear.

  4. Click Save to My Feeds.

3. Create a Widget

  1. Navigate to the Widgets tab in your RSS.app dashboard.

  2. Choose a widget type (List, Ticker, Carousel, Magazine, etc.).

  3. Select your feed from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Customize to edit the appearance, layout, colors, and fonts.

4. Embed on Your Website

  1. After customizing, click Add to Website.

  2. Copy the HTML or iframe embed code.

  3. Paste the code into your website's HTML where you want the headlines to appear.

That’s it—your site will now automatically display the latest news headlines, updated as new stories are published.
